Job descriptionOverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Audiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auditory health and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating hearing disorders, as well as offering guidance and support to patients and their families. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.DutiesConduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance disorders.Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.Provide counseling to patients and their families regarding hearing loss and treatment options.Fit and dispense hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including otolaryngologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems.Educate patients on the use and maintenance of hearing aids and assistive devices.Stay current with advancements in audiology practices and technologies.ExperienceA degree in Audiology or a related field is required.Knowledge of anatomy related to the auditory system is essential.Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not mandatory.Strong customer service skills are necessary to effectively communicate with patients.Familiarity with sales techniques related to audiology products is a plus.Understanding of aseptic techniques in a clinical setting is beneficial.Previous experience in an office environment, particularly within healthcare, is advantageous.If you are passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing impairments and meet the qualifications outlined above, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $500.00 - $550.00 per dayExpected hours: 16 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsAbility to Commute:Wichita Falls, TX 76301 (Preferred)Ability to Relocate:Wichita Falls, TX 76301: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
