Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care works with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, were hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Wood River, Illinois.
Qualifications:
-Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Illinois SLP License
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $52.65 - $56.70 per hour
- 11-week contracts
- $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
- May be asked to supervise assistants
