With over 300 days of sunshine, Palm Springs offers endless outdoor activities, including hiking and golfing, and cultural events throughout the year.As a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with PreK-5th grade students in a collaborative educational environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing students, providing direct therapy, preparing reports, and participating in IEP meetings. Though guaranteed work is Monday through Friday, school holidays and closures will be non-working days. The student caseload is approximately 55, allowing for a focused and personalized approach to each childs needs.This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on the communication abilities of young students while enjoying the unique lifestyle that Palm Springs has to offer. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Licenses: SLP-CA
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in State of Residence
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
