Join Our Team as a Respiratory Therapist - RRT/CRT and Make a Difference in Patient Care

Are you a skilled Respiratory Therapist looking for a rewarding opportunity to serve diverse patient populations across multiple facilities? We are seeking dedicated professionals like you to provide exceptional respiratory care across all campuses, supporting high-risk deliveries, NICU/PICU, and complex ICU settings. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $60.30 and the chance to work with a dynamic team committed to excellence.

Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment, working across several campuses within a 20-25 minute driving radius. If you thrive in critical care settings and have experience managing high-risk deliveries and neonatal intensive care, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
Proficiency in attending high-risk deliveries and supporting NICU/PICU patients
Excellent airway management, ventilator support, ABG analysis, and intubation skills
Ability to manage code blue scenarios and rapid response situations
Experience with inhaled medications including nitric oxide
Valid LA state licensure
Current BLS and NRP certifications; ACLS and PALS preferred
NBRC national accreditation; RRT (highly preferred) or CRT accepted
Valid driver’s license and willingness to float across four campuses

Desired Skills and Experience:

Past experience with neonatal and pediatric intensive care
Familiarity with equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, NICU oscillator, and Neopuff
Ability to work flexible shifts, including 36/48-hour rotations, with every other weekend
Strong support and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
Prior travel or outdoor clinical experience is advantageous, but not mandatory
Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex patient needs

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to be on-call if required (call not mandatory)
Orientation includes two days of onboarding at all four facilities
Will be expected to work 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts, with holiday and weekend rotations
Scrub color: Pewter; free parking provided
