Required Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Certification/License as an OTA
- Strong understanding of therapeutic and self-care activities
- Ability to monitor and record patient progress accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting
- At least one year of relevant professional experience preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
- Available to work daytime hours
- Ability to perform physical activities required for patient treatment
- Compliance with all facility, state, and federal health and safety guidelines
- Willingness to travel within the healthcare facility as needed
