AMN is seeking a passionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a Kennesaw-area school district team for the remainder of the school year. Youll partner with students from Pre-K through 12th grade to support their development across motor, sensory, and functional skillswith the stability of a full-time schedule and the camaraderie of a supportive district environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive OT evaluations to identify strengths and needs in fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills. Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized treatment plans aligned with each students IEP/504 goals. [us.trabajo.org], Deliver OT services through one-on-one sessions and group interventions, adapting strategies for different age groups and classroom environments. Document progress meticulously and prepare reports for IEP reviews, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators. Participate in weekly multidisciplinary meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives (e.g., PBIS, MTSS, UDL), integrating OT perspectives into educational programming. Provide consultative support to classroom teachers, staff, and families to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines. RequirementsMasters degree in Occupational Therapy. Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Georgia. Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred. OT-GAGraduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active State Occupational Therapy (OT) license
Preferred Qualifications
Initial certification through NBCOT
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
