Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Ocala, FL
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 for Both Day & Night Shifts
Shift Availability: Day Shift or Night Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team at Ocala Hospital. We are committed to providing top-notch care to our patients, and we are looking for an experienced RRT to deliver exceptional respiratory therapy services. With the recent increase in our sign-on bonus, now offering $20,000 for both day and night shifts, there has never been a better time to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory care services to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including chronic respiratory diseases, cardiac conditions, and other critical illnesses.
Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and aerosolized medications.
Conduct pulmonary function tests and assess patient needs for respiratory therapy interventions.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure optimal respiratory function for patients.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques, equipment use, and overall lung health management.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Valid and current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Florida.
Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations and provide quality care under pressure.
