A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available immediately through the end of the school year in McMinnville, TN. This contract position is ideal for an SLP with experience in pediatric and school settings, offering a dynamic role supporting student communication needs in an educational environment.
Located about one hour from Chattanooga and Murfreesboro (which is approximately 45 minutes from Nashville), this role provides a manageable commute while serving a vibrant student population. The SLP will be responsible for conducting speech and language assessments, delivering individualized therapy services, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contributing to the development and documentation of IEPs.
Desired qualifications and experience include:
- Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings
- Strong skills in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
