This opportunity invites experienced Radiology Technologists to provide expert imaging services in a scenic mountain setting. Located in Bayfield, CO, this contract assignment offers a chance to work with a well-equipped radiology department performing a range of diagnostic imaging procedures.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS (AHA) current certification
- Skilled in fluoroscopy, general x-ray, C-arm, and portable imaging
- Experience with EPIC and Fuji Synapse PACS systems preferred
- Able to manage 20-30 scans per day confidently
- Familiarity with GE radiology equipment
- No floating to other departments required
Responsibilities:
- Perform general x-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm, and portable radiology exams primarily in ED, outpatient, and inpatient settings
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare team members onsite
- Maintain quality and safety standards, including radiation monitoring (radiation badge provided by agency)
- Participate in department-specific orientation
- Adhere to department dress code (professional scrubs, not provided)
Schedule:
- Day shifts: 10-hour shifts with variable start times (6:00 am, 7:00 am, 7:30 am, or 8:00 am)
- Night shifts available: 12-hour shifts (6:00 pm – 6:00 am), scheduled in 3 or 4 shifts per week rotation
- Weekend shifts required
- No holiday work or regular call/standby expected (response only if needed)
