The position involves working primarily with students in Grades K-4, focusing on supporting those with Autism Spectrum Disorders in both separate and inclusive educational settings.You will be actively engaging with students across two schools, dedicating your skills to the development and support of young learners. The typical caseload ranges from 25 to 30 students, ensuring a focused approach to each child's educational progress.A supportive and collaborative atmosphere awaits you in what is known to be a traveler-friendly city. Haverhill School District has garnered recognition for its excellent educational support programs. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
