Traveling OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech

We're excited to announce an opening for an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist in Winchester, VA. You will perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds to assist physicians in clinical decision making, with emphasis on high-risk pregnancies and maternal fetal medicine imaging. You will ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures and document diagnostic data in the medical record.

Minimum Requirements:

ARDMS certification in an OB/GYN or relevant specialty. Evidence of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience required. Please list MFM imaging studies and relevant work history on your resume.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only).
1+ year of direct experience in obstetrical sonography, including transvaginal and transabdominal exams in high-risk OB patients.
Associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography from an accredited program required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Demonstrated competence operating ultrasound equipment and familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems preferred.
Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to ultrasound interpretation. Accountability and attention to detail in clinical documentation and billing support.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary maternal-fetal teams.
Preferred: experience providing ultrasound guidance for procedures and familiarity with billing practices for diagnostic imaging.

Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday.
Shift hours: 08:00-17:00.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Number of openings: 1.
Weekend hours: none.
Call requirements: none.
EMR: EPIC.
