Travel Speech-Language Pathologist in New Britain, CT

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a vibrant elementary school setting in New Britain, CT. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week. The contract runs from ASAP through June 9, 2026, with a focus on serving an approximate caseload of 50 students across various disability categories within an inclusion environment. Caseload numbers may fluctuate as student enrollment changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students within an inclusive educational setting
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized student goals
Monitor and document student progress and outcomes regularly
Participate in screenings, assessments, and the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)

Qualifications and Experience:

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA is required; Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
Active state license to practice as an SLP in Connecticut
Proven school-based experience working with diverse student populations
Completion of district-required fingerprints and background checks
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to fluctuating caseload demands
SLPA candidates will not be considered for this position
