Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA - PRN / Per Diem / As Needed
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by providing a variety of delegated therapeutic services, in accordance with licensing and regulations. Under the supervision of the primary Occupational Therapist, the COTA Assistant administers therapeutic treatment and engages and supports the patient in therapeutic activities and exercise regimes. The COTA strives to achieve the goals of the physicians plan of care and to support patients throughout the program.
What qualifications you will need:
- Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate
- (COTA) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or (OTA) Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
