Salary: $2,533.05 - $2,733.05 /wk
Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce diagnostic-quality images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of echo (cardiac sonography) experience, including transthoracic echo (TTE) and transesophageal echo (TEE).
- Experience performing contrast studies (Optison or Definity), bubble studies, exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography.
- Experience with inpatient, outpatient clinic, emergency department, and cath lab settings.
- Experience with Philips EPIC, Philips CX50, Siemens ACUSON SC2000, or Siemens Origin preferred.
- Experience using EMR systems such as Athena, Meditech, or PICOM preferred.
- Interpersonal skills: positive team player, open to feedback, and strong communicator.
- Left-handed scanner preferred.
- Additional preferred skill: pediatric TTE experience.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Schedule: Five 8-hour day shifts with a rotating evening/night/weekend call rotation and potential for overtime.
- Work locations: Inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic, emergency department, and cath lab.
- Certifications required: RDCS or CCI credential and BLS.
- May require floating to other facility locations as needed.
