Position Summary
This Enterprise Respiratory Care Practitioner Pool position will be under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director of Respiratory Care, Director of Respiratory Care, and local RT Manager. They will function in a safe, expedient, and cost-effective manner in providing, responding to patient needs and documenting respiratory care and services provided.
The Respiratory Care Practitioner Pool Will be placed on the hiring tier per HR T/A. They will be assigned to one of the ECU Health hospital groups as defined. They will be required to be competency completed for all nine ECU Health Hospitals. If requested by the Respiratory Care Director they will be expected to cover Hospital assignments outside of their Home group.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in an approved CoARC program for Respiratory Care.
- Active licensure with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board upon hire and is maintained yearly.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required.
- ACLS, PALS, BLS and NRP are required at time of hire.
- 3 years or more experience is required.

Pay Range
- RRT II pay range begins at 32 per hour
- Shift Differentials Available
- 20% - 25% Pay Premium Included
- 15K or 30K Commitment Bonus Available
