Occupational Therapist

Required Skills:

Valid State Occupational Therapist license
Minimum of 15-18 months recent experience in an acute care setting
Proficiency with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
AHA BLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience supporting ICU or neurological patients
Additional certifications such as NBCOT
Bilingual capabilities
Familiarity with hospital workflows and interdepartmental coordination

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Prior experience working in hospital-based acute care environments
Proven track record of compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

Other Requirements:

Must be available to work scheduled hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with variation based on departmental needs
Ability to work four weekends per four-week cycle and participate in holiday rotations
Willingness to support hospital-wide initiatives and provide flexible coverage as needed
Valid licensure and willingness to travel or relocate if required
COVID-19 vaccination is preferred but not mandatory, subject to facility policies
