With a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, you’ll provide direct support, working collaboratively with staff and families to facilitate student growth, success, and well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in hand, or eligible and willing to apply
Prior experience working as a school social worker, preferably supporting K-12 populations
Knowledge of strategies to address varying learning needs and socio-emotional challenges
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt services for students with diverse backgrounds and ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized and group-based services that address students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
Engage with students as unique individuals, utilizing a range of supports tailored to varying abilities and interests
Maintain ongoing supervision to ensure student health, safety, and welfare throughout the school day
Set and communicate high expectations for students, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills
Strictly adhere to school and district policies governing the care, safety, and educational standards for students
