AMN Healthcare is partnering with Pearland ISD in Pearland, TX to find a full-time bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team. The SLPA will assist the Speech Language Pathologist by conducting assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify communication disorders in students. Typical responsibilities include implementing speech, language, and hearing interventions, as well as supporting the educational and social development of children.Located in the thriving city of Pearland, Texas, this position offers you the chance to work in a supportive team atmosphere where you can advance your skills and knowledge. Pearland ISD is known for its excellent educational facilities and collaborative professional environment, making it a valuable opportunity for career growth.This assignment will be at two elementary schools and will both have an SLP onsite. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and provide direct services to students (including Spanish speaking). Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant, School
Experience: New Grad Accepted
References: 1 Reference in entire work historyMust Be bilingual in Spanish
Bachelors in Speech/Communication Sciences and Disorders or obtain a certificate (or has met educational requirements for position in state of practice)
Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or alternate credential as required by Texas
Preferred Qualifications
ASHA SLPA Certification - C-SLPA
Previous experience with Schools, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Clear, articulate communication skills
Completion of a criminal record and background check
