Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving K-12 students within a dynamic school-based setting. This full-time, on-site position, beginning August 11, 2026 and extending through June 4, 2027, brings variety and impact as you collaborate with educators, families, and school teams near Glendale, CA. Assignments may span multiple campuses, offering rich professional growth and exposure to diverse student needs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Active California OT license required
Solid understanding of school-based OT practice (case management, intervention planning, goal setting)
Familiarity with educational terminology, standardized assessments, and Special Education processes
Exposure to or experience in public school settings, including fieldwork or internships
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
Adaptability for itinerant assignments across varying campus locations

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate students’ needs within the K-12 range, using standardized tools and current best practices
Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy interventions rooted in students’ IEPs and school goals
Document all services and progress updates in a timely, compliant manner
Consult with teachers and support staff about accommodations and strategies for student access to curriculum
Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and supporting families and teams
Support a positive learning environment that enables all students to thrive
Maintain current knowledge of state and CDE guidelines for OT in educational settings
