Step into a fulfilling opportunity serving students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a supportive school setting. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout the upcoming school year. Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and help drive progress and engagement for students in need of occupational therapy support.

Desired Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Active COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
Strong skills in implementing therapy plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to supporting a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

Work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to provide targeted therapy services
Assist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student IEP goals
Document student progress and communicate updates to the therapy and school team
Adapt activities and materials to promote students’ independence in school routines
Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to facilitate carryover of skills
Participate in team meetings and assist with student evaluations as needed
