Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Temp Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in Long-Term Care in Plymouth, MA!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to provide essential communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorder interventions in a supportive long-term care setting. Required Skills:

Valid ASHA certification and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Proven experience in evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills utilizing standardized tools and evidence-based practices
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Ability to develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
Proficiency in documentation standards and electronic medical recordkeeping

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience supervising CFYs or student SLPs
Familiarity with long-term care settings and patient populations
Knowledge of DME procurement and regulatory compliance processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active ASHA certification and state licensure
Minimum of 1+ years of professional clinical experience in a similar setting preferred

Other Requirements:

Ability to work daytime hours in Plymouth, MA, within a long-term care facility
Commitment to adhering to ASHA and state practice acts, ethical standards, and facility policies
Flexibility to participate in required meetings, trainings, and conferences
Willingness to obtain and maintain any necessary supplies, licensure, and certifications
