Radiation Therapist – Radiology / Cardiology – Huntersville, NC

Shift: Day shift, 8 hours (07:00 – 15:30)
Hours per week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Contract/Travel
License/Certifications: ARRT Certification, ARIA & True Beam experience required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience, traveler experience preferred

Pay rate: $57.27/hour

What You’ll Do

Deliver external beam radiation therapy to adult outpatient patients
Operate advanced equipment such as True Beam linear accelerators
Utilize ARIA and Vision/Vision/Aria systems for treatment verification
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Prepare and simulate treatment plans, including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and SBRT procedures
Maintain accurate documentation and record integrity for treatment sessions
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all procedures

What You Need
Required:

ARRT certification in radiation therapy
ARIA and True Beam system experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant radiation therapy experience
Ability to work in adult outpatient settings and perform external beam therapy
BLS certification preferred

Preferred:

Experience with CT simulation, stereotactic procedures, IMRT, and advanced imaging techniques
Knowledge of specific treatment protocols such as prostate, brain tumors, and respiratory gating

About the Assignment
This outpatient clinic treats adult patients with benign and malignant conditions, including specialized procedures like SRS and SBRT. The unit operates with a 1:1 patient ratio, and there are no float or weekend requirements. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including True Beam and Vision RT, ensuring a cutting-edge work environment.
