Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status
- Valid state licensure as a school-based SLP (or the ability to obtain before start)
- Demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for working with pediatric populations within an educational setting
- Strong ability to conduct assessments, interpret findings, and develop individualized plans
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel between schools as an itinerant provider
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Assess, diagnose, and provide personalized interventions for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom
- Provide resources and training to educators and caregivers, fostering an inclusive learning environment
