Per Diem Pharmacist in Lake Worth, FL

An opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) on an as-needed basis, providing essential leadership when the regular manager is unavailable. This role supports a community pharmacy setting with an emphasis on delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Location:

Lake Worth, FL

Schedule/Hours:

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Per diem, shifts scheduled as needed

Responsibilities:

Act as Pharmacist-in-Charge during manager absences, overseeing pharmacy operations
Ensure adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Manage prescription dispensing accurately and efficiently
Provide excellent patient counseling and medication therapy management
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate records and manage inventory controls

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid Florida Pharmacist License is mandatory
Prior retail pharmacy experience is required
Strong knowledge of community pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
Ability to exercise leadership and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
