Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Preferred experience working with school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy strategies for a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to organize caseload and adhere to documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services as specified in students' IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions, maintain records, and track student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal special education regulations
