Job Posting #2223-28Position: Occupational Therapist Isom Elementary SchoolPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:? ESA Certification Occupational/Physical Therapist Specialist Certificate for the State of Washington or evidence of eligibility? Washington State License? Demonstrated ability to work with students, staff, administrators, and parents? Demonstrated interest, commitment, and ability to work with special need students? Demonstrated positive interactions with students? Demonstrated ability to work with and provide direction to para educators? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and paperwork? Demonstrated ability to listen deeply, identify critical issues and develop creative solutions to challenging situations? Successful and recent experience as an Occupational or Physical Therapist with a student-age population preferred? Interest in and evidence of continued professional growth in techniques for assisting students with occupational and physical therapy needs preferred? Demonstrated skills in working with both regular and special education teaching staff preferred? Personal commitment and willingness to advocate for and demonstrate an appreciation for all children and their families?
