Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives? We are looking for a skilled and compassionate PT to join our outpatient team in Vandalia, IL, starting March 9, 2026. This role offers a chance to utilize your expertise in a supportive environment, contributing to patient recovery and well-being during a rewarding temporary assignment.
In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring patients’ physical function. You will apply a diverse set of skills, including therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, physical modalities, gait training, and manual techniques. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will motivate patients and ensure compassionate care while performing evaluations and treatments as prescribed by referring physicians. You may also assist in clinic management duties and support the training of other personnel and students, fostering a collaborative clinical environment.
Required Skills: - Valid Physical Therapy license in Illinois
- Proven experience in outpatient therapy settings
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques including exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform patient evaluations and tailor treatment plans accordingly
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
- Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations
- Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques
Preferred Education and Experience: - Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous outpatient therapy experience preferred but not required
- Licensure in Illinois in good standing
Other Requirements: - Professional licensure, certification, or travel reimbursements when applicable
- Availability to start on 03/09/2026
- Ability to work daytime hours and adapt to clinic schedules
