Walterboro is part of the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry, offering a serene environment with plenty of attractions.Our facility is recognized for creating a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere, ensuring a positive work environment for all our staff members.The position demands working with students from grades 2nd through 5th, including a low incidence class with both verbal and nonverbal students, and two students with physical disabilities who communicate via eye gaze. You'll be responsible for managing a total caseload of 37 students.Enjoy working weekdays from Monday to Friday with a weekly pay cycle. However, compensation is based only on hours worked, excluding school holidays or closures due to teacher workshops and inclement weather. Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, SchoolMasters Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
State License is Required to Start the Assignment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work
