A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support a diverse caseload spanning PreK through 12th grade in a school setting located in Louisburg, NC. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of district SLPs, providing comprehensive speech and language services to students with varying needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs across the PreK-12 spectrum.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment data.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings with other district SLPs to share best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license or certification appropriate for school-based practice.
- Experience working with students from PreK to 12th grade preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
- Knowledge of current speech-language pathology best practices in an educational setting.
