The Lead Clinician is responsible for coordinating providing mental health screenings and counseling intervention services, as well as continually monitoring and documenting minors mental well-being and overall adjustment to the Unaccompanied Minors program. The clinicians functions are performed as part of a multi-disciplinary team and include development and implementation of client service plans, facilitating transfers, referrals, and reunification planning. All duties will be performed based on education, training, and certified counseling experience within the social service field. The Lead Clinician is subject to work extended hours and weekends, and to be on-call as needed.Essential Functions:Coordinate clinical services by providing oversight, and training of staff clinicians, monitoring clinical services documentation, and developing and maintaining ongoing partnerships with third-party, community-based providers.Coordinate intake, admission, and screenings with minors, and document results according to SWK standardsCollaborate with treatment team members and minors to develop serviceCoordinate that all minors receive one-to-one counseling and crisis intervention asCoordinate that all minors receive educational and participate in counselingContinually monitor the mental well-being of minors and arrange for appropriate third-party services asProvide consultation and documentation regarding clients functioning, mental health status, and treatmentProvide clinical services within Southwest Key, in accordance with licensing and funding source guidelines as needed.Participate in and comply with all meetings, assignments, process improvement, and quality improvement initiatives as assigned by supervisor.Other Functions:Attend all organizational requiredAttend all departmental and program meetings to ensure that up-to-date information is received and/or information on policy changes or practices is adhered to.Assist in the evacuation of youth as needed due to inclement weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen occurrences.Travel as needed for trainings, conferences or to transport youth to destinations located within the S.Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workAlways ensure the proper supervision of youth.Respond to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements:These requirements may be waived with written approval from the ORR Project OfficerMaster's degree in social work (MSW) and five years of full-time direct service delivery experience OR A master's degree in psychology, Counseling, or other relevant behavioral science fields in which clinical training and experience is a program requirement.Licensed to provide clinical services in the State where the care provider is located.For California: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist.For Arizona: LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsychologistOne year of supervisoryTwo years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience conducting clinical interviewing and assessment, as individual and group counseling.Experience working with children, youth, and/or families from high-riskSuccessful completion of 86 hours of pre-service training and jobRequired to work a flexible schedule to facilitate programCleared Tuberculosis testCleared background check from appropriate(English/Spanish)Compliance with annual requirement of 50 training hours as mandated by SWK, ORR, and state licensingAbility to communicate well both verbally and inMust be at least 21 years of age at the time of
