A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a diverse student population in a learning center setting. This position is based in Oneonta, Alabama, with a focus on travel assignments and onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to a caseload of 49 students.
- Address the needs of a high-needs group, predominantly in 5th grade or lower, with some high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific communication challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Alabama state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (AL SLP).
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings strongly desired.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload including multiple age groups.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details:
- Part-time schedule, approximately 3-4 days per week.
- Primarily onsite with potential flexibility for virtual or hybrid arrangements.
- Interview conducted via Zoom with school director.
- Travel-related responsibilities within the assigned region.
