Job Title: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinical team within a hospital setting. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, primarily in outpatient services, with mandatory inpatient coverage on Mondays and as needed based on patient load. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
- Deliver inpatient coverage in a swing bed (Skilled Nursing Facility) setting with a maximum of 24 beds, ensuring continuity of care.
- Conduct one-on-one patient sessions, tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using WebPT EMR for outpatient care and Trubridge EMR for inpatient services.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies, including dress code and safety protocols.
- Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled, with time off on major holidays.
Qualifications: - Valid and current Texas state license as a Physical Therapist.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems: WebPT (outpatient) and Trubridge (inpatient).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and schedules.
Work Schedule: - 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Inpatient coverage required on Mondays and as necessary.
- Off on major holidays.
Professional Appearance: - Uniforms include black or scrub pants paired with a collared hospital shirt.
- No facial jewelry visible during work hours.
- Tattoos are permitted, provided they do not display vulgar images or language.
