Physical Therapist - School Setting in Huntingdon, PA

A per diem Physical Therapist position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) 2026 program in Huntingdon County, PA. This contract role supports two school sites located within close proximity, serving a small caseload focused on delivering quality therapeutic services during the summer session.

Responsibilities:

Provide in-person physical therapy services adhering to PDE requirements.
Manage a caseload consisting of approximately 4 students between 6/23/26 and 7/16/26.
Deliver sessions twice over four weeks for 30 minutes each, with additional weekly sessions of 30 to 45 minutes as outlined.
Provide therapy to 1 student from 6/22/26 to 8/3/26, with specific session times to be determined.
Collaborate with school staff to support students’ therapeutic goals during the ESY period.

Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapy credentials meeting all Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations.
Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a face-to-face school environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills to manage scheduling and caseload.

Location:

Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania
Services provided at two nearby school sites within approximately 15-20 minutes of each other.
