Job Summary and Qualifications
Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level which does not require direct supervision, and assumes the responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required.What you will do in this role:
- Determines priority on patient care and completes work within appropriate time frame.
- Delegates work appropriately to job classification with clear concise directions.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed.
- Follows hospital policy and procedure in performing job functions, skills and tasks.
- Willing to adjust personal schedule in cases of workload fluctuations or other departmental needs.
- When assigned work is complete, it seeks additional tasks to be done.
- Perform well in stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills.
- Follows through with assignments and informs supervisor if unable to complete task.
What qualifications you will need:
- Associate Degree
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- Texas Medical Board
Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 630+ bed healthcare system of hospitals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community.
