Diagnostic Imaging Assistant for Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.
Part-Time/Evening Shift - Monday - Friday from 2:45pm-8:30pm
The Specialist-Diagnostic Imaging Support assists and directs patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and/or exam information into our Electronic Medical Records System (EMS). The Diagnostic Imaging Support Specialist is responsible for all applicable software, and interacts with many departments, office staff, physicians and patients. The position requires extensive clerical, telephonic, and customer service skills.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Basic medical terminology course, or completed within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year of Clerical or Customer Service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in the medical field. Or equivalent educ/experience
- Associate's Degree:
- 1 year medical and/or clerical experience, or
- A successful completion of a Providence Internship.
- Coursework/Training and College courses in intermediate medical terminology and physical anatomy. Or
- Medical terminology and physical anatomy: knowledge obtained through work experience.
- Diagnostic Imaging experience.
- Electronic Medical Records System experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
