Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification in relevant specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred: RDMS, ARMDS).
- Minimum two years of clinical experience in ultrasound, including two years of breast imaging experience required. Experience in OBGYN is required.
- Demonstrated competency in general, vascular, or cardiac ultrasound procedures relevant to the assigned department.
- CPR certification upon hire. AHA BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Ability to perform invasive ultrasound-related procedures as appropriate to modality (for example paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy assistance, contrast or agitated saline use for cardiac studies) according to policy.
- Willingness to float to other facility units as needed up to competency level.
- Ability to mentor sonography students and contribute to accreditation processes.
- Preferred: ARDMS specialty credentials in breast, OB/GYN, vascular, or cardiac modalities.

- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 07:00-16:00.
- Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm departmental schedule also noted.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
- Call requirements: To be discussed during interview; schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
- Travelers may be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
- May be required to float to other departments or units as needed.
