A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Mammoth Lakes, CA, supporting school-aged populations under a contract arrangement. This role involves providing specialized speech and language services within an educational setting, focusing on assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language objectives
- Monitor and accurately document student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators and healthcare professionals
- Engage families by providing education and involving them in the therapy process
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly valued
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Capacity to work both independently and cooperatively with colleagues
