Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school environment is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to a caseload of students, ranging from mild to moderate needs
- Conduct initial assessments, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student assessments
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and parent conferences
- Offer resources and support to educational staff to facilitate classroom strategies
- Stay informed of best practices and adhere to ethical standards in service delivery
