Your caseload may include pediatric, adult, or geriatric patients with conditions such as developmental delays, neurologic disorders, post-stroke deficits, voice disorders, fluency disorders, or cognitive-communication challenges. You will also provide education to patients, families, and caregivers to support carryover of strategies at home and in the community.The work environment emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and high-quality, patient-centered care. You can expect to partner closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, and educators to create coordinated care plans that address the whole person. Depending on the specific unit or department, productivity expectations and patient ratios are designed to balance efficiency with the ability to provide thorough, individualized treatment. A typical day may include a mix of evaluations, follow-up treatment sessions, documentation, team huddles, and family meetings, with support from leadership for clinical problem-solving and case discussions.Shifts and hours may vary by setting, with options that can include standard weekday schedules, some evening availability for patient convenience, and occasional weekend coverage as needed to support patient access to services. Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
State SLP License in Indiana
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Communication Disorder Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
