Hematology / Oncology / Classical Hematology Physician at Banner-University Medical Center/University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ
We are actively recruiting for an outstanding Classical Hematology Physician to join our division in Tucson, Arizona. Our current team consists of (22 Faculty in total: 8 Hematologist and 14 Solid Tumor physicians and 15 APP's within the Division of Hematology Oncology.) This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary clinical environment with active research programs. Banner-University Medicine is the clinical partner to the University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC), a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research, and education.

Position Details:
- 1.0 FTE
- (6) Four-hour sessions of clinic per week at 1.0 cFTE
- Administrative Time
- Clinical shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Hematology Consults/Inpatient Service: 6-8 weeks approximately
- EMR: Cerner
- 2 Year Ramp Up
We are seeking applicants with:
- Applicants must hold MD or MD/PhD degrees, be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified or eligible in Hematology and be able to meet medical licensure requirements in Arizona.
