Position Description:
LGHP Geriatrics is seeking a part-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their nationally recognized team. The Geriatrics team, consisting of 40 physicians and advanced practice providers, provides high quality care to the frail geriatric population in a variety of service areas including the outpatient office, nursing home, hospital consult service, and home care. Our team focuses on providing the geriatric population of Lancaster County, PA with the highest standard of care tailored to meet individual patient needs. This role is comprised of Geriatric Consult Service rounding in the hospital setting.
Hours: Part-time (0.5 FTE), Weekend position; every Saturday/Sunday and every other Friday (8am-5pm).
Position Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner
- Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania
- Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required (Acute Care NP certification required)
- Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred
Physician Assistant
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.
- Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
- Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant highly preferred
