Required Skills:

A.A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy
NYS license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
Minimum of 2 years of clinical acute care experience post-degree
Proficiency in administering positive pressure, aerosol, and oxygen therapy
Ability to assist physicians with continuous ventilation management
Experience in performing pulmonary function tests and radial arterial punctures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to perform most patient care functions independently with minimal supervision
Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Familiarity with advanced respiratory technology and equipment
Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

A current A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy
At least two years of acute care respiratory therapy experience in a clinical setting
Valid NYS license/registration in good standing

Other Requirements:

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Willingness to participate in continual education and certifications
Compensation includes licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursable expenses when applicable

Hourly Pay Rate: $57.85
