Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California OT or COTA license required
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student needs
- Flexibility and adaptability when working in a dynamic educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students with a variety of needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ academic and functional goals
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and optimize student progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support strategies
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with district and state standards
