Schedule/Hours:
- Days, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Monday – Friday & one Saturday each month
- Holidays required
Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in New Mexico or compact state
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Solid acute care background
- Readiness to start ASAP and commit to a 13-week duration
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and treatments in an acute care hospital
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to develop and execute comprehensive care plans
- Accurately document interventions and patient progress to promote optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and family members, advocating for their safety and continued recovery
- Adhere to facility policies while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice
