Full-Time, Night Shift | 36 Hours, 12-Hour Shifts

| Every Third Weekend

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering sign on bonuses for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) :

0 - 1 years of experience is eligible for up to $2,500(full time)1+ years of experience eligible for up to $4,000(full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time ANA/CNA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Additional Information

The Nursing Float Pool is the department for CNA’s that are seeking a challenge and would like exposure to a broad range of patient acuity levels. The CNA joining the Float Pool is looking to gain or build upon a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge base.Ability to float between Medical-Surgical Units with focus of Cardiac and Post-Surgical diagnoses, as well as our Special Care unit, which provides great exposure to specialties while continuing to expand your experience and skills.

Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
