Bring your expertise as a Physical Therapist to the 2026-2027 school year with a part-time contract opportunity in the Gibsland, LA area. This role places you at the heart of student support across six school campuses in three nearby towns, ensuring students from PreK through 12th grade receive essential PT evaluations. With travel between campuses ranging from 15 to 30 minutes, you'll not only enjoy variety in your work but also the chance to make a broad impact across different communities.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapy license, with a focus on school-based and pediatric populations
Experience in conducting comprehensive PT assessments and re-evaluations
Familiarity with Louisiana Bulletin 1508 PT evaluation requirements or willingness to learn
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to travel between various school sites (travel within 15-30 minutes of each other)

Role Responsibilities:

Complete initial and re-evaluations for students from PreK through 12th grade
Collaborate with educators, parents, and special education teams regarding evaluation findings
Maintain accurate records in compliance with Louisiana Bulletin 1508 standards
Travel to all six campuses as scheduled to conduct assessments (part-time, 2 days per month)
Provide clear, actionable feedback and recommendations without direct therapy involvement
