Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, with credentials meeting Louisiana state requirements
- Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
- Proficiency in conducting assessments under the Louisiana Bulletin 1508 PT evaluation standards
- Strong understanding of physical therapy’s role within multi-disciplinary school teams
- Outstanding organizational and communication abilities
- Previous experience evaluating PreK–12 students strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation for travel between multiple campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive initial and re-evaluations for students from PreK through grade 12
- Provide expert recommendations in alignment with Louisiana school-based eligibility standards
- Communicate findings and collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of all assessments and recommendations
- Rotate efficiently through six campuses, ensuring evaluation needs are met on schedule
