Required Skills:

Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (CPTA or equivalent)
Proven experience assisting with physical therapy treatments in a long-term care setting
Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and instructions from Physical Therapists
Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with patients and their families
Excellent organizational skills for managing patient records and administrative tasks
Ability to safely assist patients with mobility and exercise routines
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with balance training and mobility techniques
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Additional certifications such as CPR or First Aid

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related healthcare field
Prior experience in a long-term care or senior care environment
At least 1-2 years of hands-on PTA experience preferred

Other Requirements:

Valid licensure and/or certification to practice as a PTA in Washington State
Ability to work day shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule
Reliable transportation to travel within the Renton area if needed
Compliant with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
