This Physical Therapist Assistant opportunity is based in Englewood, Colorado, a vibrant community just south of Denver known for its easy access to the Rocky Mountains, miles of nearby trails, and an active, outdoor-oriented lifestyle. Residents enjoy proximity to downtown Denvers dining, arts, and professional sports while still benefiting from a more relaxed suburban feel.The position is in an outpatient setting that serves a highly active population, including high school athletes, working professionals, and older adults who wish to remain independent and mobile. A large portion of the caseload includes post-op joint replacements and ACL reconstructions, along with vestibular and general musculoskeletal conditions, providing a strong mix of orthopedic and balance-focused rehab.You can expect a structured schedule of 5 eight-hour day shifts each week (5:8s), targeting 40 hours per week. Typical volume is around 12 visits per day, allowing you to provide thorough, one-on-one care while maintaining a steady and manageable workload. On-call responsibilities are not required, supporting a more predictable work-life balance.The care team emphasizes collaborative practice and evidence-informed treatment plans. You will work closely with supervising physical therapists and other clinical staff to deliver high-quality, function-focused therapy. This environment offers opportunities to refine skills in post-surgical rehab and vestibular therapy, while building a strong outpatient orthopedic background that is valuable for long-term career growth.The contract is structured as a temp-to-direct arrangement, providing a path toward a permanent role for those who find the setting and location a strong professional and personal fit. Facility LocationAn amphitheater close to the Civic Center in Englewood is the focal point for visitors of this Rocky Mountain town where many summer concerts take place. Englewood is also famous for the Broken Tree golf facility with its award winning golf course complete with an 18 hole championship course.
