Candidates for this position must bring expertise working with pediatric populations, as well as a strong understanding of school-based Speech-Language Pathology. You’ll deliver individualized and group therapy services, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to nurture students’ communication skills and academic growth.
Qualifications
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Wisconsin
- DPI Certification
- Experience in a school setting (K-5 preferred)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfort using teletherapy platforms (a plus, but not required)
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLP-CCC candidates
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to K-5 students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEP development and implementation
- Engage with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal standards
- Deliver both individual and small-group interventions as needed
